The Selby { Elli Rose and Gui at home in Tokyo }

I have always wondered what a fashion model's home looks like, and if you are a regular ViVi reader (like me), I'm sure you are familiar with model Elli Rose. I saw Elli Rose's home on The Selby. All I say is that I'm jealous of her shoe collections!

Fabulous finds { Kloset: Rustic Elegance Spring/Summer 2010 }

I'm loving Kloset's Spring/Summer Rustic Elegance collection. It's so lovely, whimsical with a touch of modern vintage. The designer is based in Thailand. She is very talented. I remember when Kloset was just starting. I'm glad the brand is getting recognized internationally :)

Lovely + Inspiring { Pretty Picnic }

Now that Spring has officially arrived to my city. Don't you want to have a pretty picnic outdoor? I bring you some picnic ideas with style!

I'm planning to go picnic with Atchan this weekend at Toronto Island. It's just 15 mins away from downtown, but feel like you are in a remote, vacation island. Sounds exciting doesn't it?

Japanese food { Takoyaki たこ焼き }

Last night Atchan went out with his friends and when he came home, he brought this with him, a Takoyaki machine!! He borrowed it from his friend for me, he knows how much I LOVE takoyaki.

We sprinkled octopus, cheese, green onion and ginger all over it.

We also went to Korea town to get ingredients for takoyaki. We didn't find everything we want, so we just used what we had at home. It tasted great!! We ended up eating 4 rounds and I was getting better at making them hahaha. I was sooo full. I never had this many takoyaki in my life!!

Lovely + Inspiring { Ballet girls }

I watched a documentary called Ballet girls on TV the other night. It brought back (not so) old memories I had when I was a ballet dancer. I still miss dancing sometimes, especially the painful part when my toe nails came off (I'm not joking!). Ballet is absolutely beautiful and it requires so much hard work.

Busy week

Hi everyone. I can't believe it's almost the end of this week already. I've been super busy this week. My shop has been busier than usual (I feel thankful for that!). My fiance Atchan just arrived from Japan on Wednesday. He has been away and I'm so happy to see him. I got nervous and excited every time I pick him up at the airport. He bought so many snacks and magazines for me (Vivi and Cancam, my favorites!).

I got free small bags from Vivi and Cancam. I'm loving a Marc Jacobs small tote. It fits my wallet, keys and lip gloss perfectly :)

Oh, I also got a snack from Atchan's sister. She said this patisserie, Gateau Festa Harada, is very famous in Japan. She had to line up at least an hour to buy this snack. It tastes so good. It's buttery and sweet at the same time. I say it's worth waiting an hour for!

I hope you all have a great weekend! Thanks for visiting :)

My favorite shirt

Happy new week everyone. How are you today? I hope you had fun on your weekend. I had quite an interesting weekend. I went to my sister's school to see her print making project. It was really awesome. I didn't know print making can be so complicated and it required so much patience!

The weather was really nice on the weekend. I got to wear my favorite shirt that I haven't worn for almost a year! Yes, it has been hanging in my closet for quite sometime, and it was screaming "wear me!", I just couldn't resist.

Shirt from Jayro White. I love black color and ruffles.

A 70's inspired locket necklace from my shop.

This last photo of me reminds me I really need to get a haircut! I'd better get back to work. Thanks for reading my blog & Have a nice day :)

Richtree restaurant

Good morning everyone. How are you today? I just love Fridays! I went out with my girlfriend yesterday to grab something to eat. We usually go to Korean restaurants (we love spicy food!), but we were feeling a little bit fancy, so we decided to go to one of her favorite restaurants, Richtree (aka Marché)

My friend's spinach and cheese ravioli with rose sauce.

Mine was Salmon with fried rice.

I was so full, but I heard the crapes and waffles here were soooo good. I forced my friend to share it with me. Yum! It was really good! I love whipped cream!

The food wasn't bad, but it wasn't that good either. I love the atmosphere and waffle the most.

I hope you have a fun weekend. I'm going to my sister's art school on the weekends. She is working on her print making project at school and I have never seen it before, it sounds interesting!
