Starting this weekend, I'm going to add a new feature to my shop. Some necklaces will be on discount. I'm not going to tell which necklaces will be on discount yet, please stay tuned for tomorrow :)
I watched So You Think You Can Dance last night and I wished I could vote for Randi and Evan. I love the dance routine so much. It was so romantic and lovely. I couldn't believe it was their first time dancing together. They were amazing!!! I'm keeping my fingers crossed for them :)
There are so many great contemporary dancers this year. I can't wait to see Mia Michaels' choreography. I'm getting ready for the show tonight!

Canada goes green
I have been looking for my perfect green bag forever, but somehow I just couldn't find the one I really like yet. I have a really old, almost torn green bag and wanted to replace it very badly. I'm very picky. I wanted to find the green bag I can use for a long long time. I want a green bag that could fit in my purse and is durable enough to hold all my groceries (I tend to eat a lot!). Here are some of my favorites!

Farmer's Public Market by: The Craft Pantry
Stores in Toronto are now charging $0.05 per plastic bag. What a good change! Many people are now carrying their green bags with them. I hope it's not just a trend. We have to continue to make the world a better place :)

Back to Toronto
I've been away for one month to be exact. I was in Japan for two weeks and in Thailand for 3 weeks. My trip was AWESOME (except the fact that I hate flying)! It was my first time going to Japan. I actually like Japan more than I thought I would. The food, the culture, people, everything is just perfect.
Thailand was extremely hot and humid when I got there. In fact, I could hardly breath at all! April is the hottest month in Thailand and it was when I chose to go! I went to the beach at the southern part of Thailand. It was amazing! I stayed at a bungalow for a few nights. The bungalow was located on the mountains. It was quite a walk actually, but totally worth it! I wish I could stay in Japan/Thailand a little longer though!
I collected the shells for my family and friends, but I stupidly left them at the hotel :(
I will upload some of the pictures from my trips little by little. Please check back often.

Vintage luminous earrings, sea green
These earrings are absolutely my favorite. They come in vintage sea green. The color is stunning. I was inspired by Angelina Jolie's dazzling emerald drops which she wore to the Oscar's. She looked gorgeous wearing them. My earrings are made of glass. The heart charms are wrapped in brass setting. Don't you think they're so perfect for a romantic date or even afternoon and night out? I'm keeping one myself!

Today's lunch

This is what I had for today's lunch. Eggplant with fried tofu and sweet basil. This is a mock Thai food. We don't really eat eggplants in Thailand, but since many authentic ingredients are hard to find in Canada, we have to be creative a little bit. I also added sliced king mushrooms and red chili into this dish. And the star of this dish is one of my favorite herbs, Basil!! (clapping hands)
I love basil + love the smell of basil. It has a strong smell which some people can't stand. I hated it when I was young, but I really like it as I get older. I also love cilantro, um...what else, ginger, lemongrass, and many many more.
Oh, I also add boiled egg as well. I prefer it fried, but I hate to clean up after deep frying something. Yikes! So, boiled egg tastes good no less than fried egg.
Cooking is fun, but cleaning is not!
