Boxes

Here are the new packaging for my shop :-). Aren't they cute? I cute packagings! I hope my customers will be happy when they receive cute packagings. It's like a little treat. The problem is I couldn't get these boxes through 2 cm Canadian standard for small packages. How absurd!! Can't the government change it to 3 cm instead? Well, the knot on top of the box is the reason why it wouldn't go through. I will have to come up with a new way of tying these knots. I really do like my packaging right now. It would be sad if I have to change the design....boo!

The wrapping papers are made from old magazines. I found some colorful pages and just cut them out. I could also recycle used magazines. I also find packaging ideas from Etsy, the storque. Here's the link.

I will go watch now. Will update later. Night Night

Today's lunch

I made yakisoba (stir fried noodle) for lunch. Yum Yum. It is one of my favorite dishes. Seems like someone wanted to have it too!

Squidward

Somebody in my house just had a birthday! That's right, it's my lovely pet puppy . So, we got her a brand new toy. We named him "Squidward" as in Spongbob! My puppy got really excited when she saw the new toy. She went all crazy when I squeezed Squidward's head and it made squeaky noises.

I have been procrastinating about updating the blog lately. I've been super busy busy busy (excuses). By the way, I made the order for my jewelry boxes last week and I just got them today. They're so tiny, cute, and recyclable. I will come up with the design for my packaging and post them here later. Please stay tune for that.

Good night for now.

Japan, here I come......

Photos from left to right, from the top:

Asian paper lantern, Winsomeworks
Kimono print
, munieca
Sushi felt roll pin, Sypria
Fabric origami, Asian expressions
Temple in Kyoto, KKnoebel
Japanese shoes, f2images

I decided to group pictures of all things Japanese since I'll be going to Japan in the summer. I'm very very excited about the trip. I'm looking forward to the trip every single day!!! It's going be fun!!! Yay!!

Here are places that I'll be visiting.

-Tokyo Disneyland...I'm not really a fan of Disney. I love fairy tales, but I think I'm a little too old for Disney, BUT my Japanese friends insist that I SHOULD/MUST visit to Tokyo Disneyland. Well, I will give it a try.

-Onsen...is basically a public hot spring which you have to share with strangers. Again, I'm not sure if I'm comfortable sharing the same bath with strangers (naked!! yikes). Everyone said that it is so relaxing after onsen. I hope they have a private tub.

-Shopping!! it is the first thing I'm going to do actually!! I'll visit Shibuya, Harajuku, Ginza, etc. for sure.

-Shrines/Temples...I'm planning to visit Asakusa temple and visit Kyoto as well.

-Osaka...I'm going to eat my favorite food takoyaki and okonomiyaki in Osaka for sure. Yum Yum.

That's all I could come up with. All suggestions are welcome. If you know any interesting places, plz drop me a line!

Strawberry

Have you ever seen such huge, weird shaped strawberry like this before? I bought 2 boxes of strawberries from China town (it was on sale, 2 boxes for 1.99 only!!) Then, I found this funny looking strawberry. I think there's about 4 strawberries in this particular one!! Amazing!!

I'm currently watching.....

Mei chan no shitsuji!!!!! It's based on a manga. I haven't read the manga version yet, but the drama is quite fun so far. Here's more info about Mei chan no shitsuji. I just love watching Japanese dramas. They're mostly funny + light hearted.

I'm also looking forward to watching Love Shuffle. My favorite actor, Tamaki Hiroshi is in the drama . He has been so very skinny lately. I really hope he would gain some weigh soon.

I'm going back to watch Mei chan .
