Happy New Year 2011!

Greetings from Hua Hin, Thailand!

I hope you had a great time during the holidays. I got to escape to the beach, Hua Hin for one whole day. Atchan's family visited Thailand on the last week of December. They requested that they would love to spend a day or two at the beach not too far from Bangkok.

We reserved a table at a restaurant in Let's Sea Hotel, Hua Hin. Hua Hin is 3 hours away from Bangkok by car. There are closer beaches around Bangkok, but they are too crowded and too touristy.

We got to spend a lazy afternoon getting a sun tan.

when we got bored from getting a sun tan, we walked around the shore.

took picture of our shadows (lol).

and we had Pad Thai.

It was such a wonderful day. I want to come back here again!

Japan, I miss you { part 1 of 2 }

Next month will be exactly one year ago since my last visit Japan. I really had a great time visiting my fiance's family for the first time. I'm planning to visit Japan again this year, of course. So, I'm sharing some photos of my last trip with you :)

Doll machine @ Shibuya.

Atchan said that day wasn't very crowded. @ Shibuya crosswalk.

Spaghetti @ Omotesando. The best spaghetti I've ever had!

Asakusa temple.

I will continue next post on the trip to Kyoto and Osaka!

Japan, here I come......

Sushi felt roll pin, Sypria
Fabric origami, Asian expressions
Temple in Kyoto, KKnoebel

I decided to group pictures of all things Japanese since I'll be going to Japan in the summer. I'm very very excited about the trip. I'm looking forward to the trip every single day!!! It's going be fun!!! Yay!!

Here are places that I'll be visiting.

-Tokyo Disneyland...I'm not really a fan of Disney. I love fairy tales, but I think I'm a little too old for Disney, BUT my Japanese friends insist that I SHOULD/MUST visit to Tokyo Disneyland. Well, I will give it a try.

-Onsen...is basically a public hot spring which you have to share with strangers. Again, I'm not sure if I'm comfortable sharing the same bath with strangers (naked!! yikes). Everyone said that it is so relaxing after onsen. I hope they have a private tub.

-Shopping!! it is the first thing I'm going to do actually!! I'll visit Shibuya, Harajuku, Ginza, etc. for sure.

-Shrines/Temples...I'm planning to visit Asakusa temple and visit Kyoto as well.

-Osaka...I'm going to eat my favorite food takoyaki and okonomiyaki in Osaka for sure. Yum Yum.

That's all I could come up with. All suggestions are welcome. If you know any interesting places, plz drop me a line!
