DIY { Wedding Bouquet Ideas }

I'm considering turning supermarket flowers into wedding bouquet flowers. It's an awesome idea isn't it?

DIY { 5 Minutes Pin Board }

It doesn't take a long time for this DIY. You only need 5-10 minutes.

What you need:

A pair of scissors, Double sided tape, Glue stick, Pins and Wrapping paper or Cloth.

Two pieces of card board (or just one if you want). Cut them to match the size of the frame. I got mine from an old box.

A frame. I love vintage style frame. I bought mine at St.Lawrence Market :)

How to:

Take one card board and apply glue stick all over it. I also used double sided tape for extra strength.

Then put another card board over the first card board (you can skip this method if you use only one card board).

Cut wrapping paper to match the size of the card board. Apply glue on it, then paste the paper over the cardboard.

Put them in the frame and Voila, you got one good looking pin board :)
Happy Family Day, Smile!!

DIY cushion covers

My old cushion cover I bought from Ikea a few years ago was ready to go. The zipper was broken and it was beyond fixable since the cover itself was falling apart (my dog loves to tear it up).

I happened to find some lovely fabrics at Fabricland. I love bright colors as well as sweet pastels. I was so happy to find these 2 fabric patterns from Liz Claiborne and on SALE :)

It took me almost a week to finish sewing one cushion cover (by hand). I don't have a sewing machine, but would LOVE to have one in the future. Let's hope that my dog wouldn't start tearing this one up again.

Photo shoot / DIY

It's super windy today in Toronto. The wind just makes my hair goes crazy! It's just too cold this year. I miss a nice warm sunny day. Boo.

I just finished taking photos for my new necklace. I haven't come up with a name for it yet. I used eco-friendly/recycle props I found around my house.

These roses are from my sister's graduation just a few months ago. Drying flowers are actually very easy to make. Here's the how-to link.

I put these dry roses on the hallway next to a photo frame. It looks great together!
