Hello everyone. How was your weekend? I'm so happy to tell you that I have received our wedding photos last Friday and I LOVE all of them. Christine Lim is our wedding photographer, she is the sweetest person you will ever meet! I fell in love with her photos and I'm so happy she is our wedding photographer. I'm excited to share some photos with you. Feel free to leave comments :)

Our wedding took place in Toronto Island. We were so lucky the weather was nice and warm. Such a perfect day for an outdoor wedding. We have close friends and family flown in from Japan and Thailand. I can't believe it's been almost three weeks already. It's still fresh like it was yesterday.








Our ride.....I got dressed at the bed and breakfast on Ward's Island on the wedding day and it was impossible to walk from Ward's Island to the Centre Island, so Atchan rented two seaters bicycle to pick me up!! Too cute to be true. All the guests love it, everyone tried riding on it, yes, even with skirts! :)

I'm back

Hi everyone. Happy Monday. I can't believe it's already the end of May. Time flies so fast when you are busy, don't you think?

Atchan and I had so much fun at the wedding. It was such a lovely day for us. We had close friends and family attended. The wedding couldn't happen without them all. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart!!

Today is actually the first day I have time for myself since the wedding day. My mother and aunt in law flew back to Japan yesterday. We took them to Niagara falls, Niagara by the lake and wine tasting, yum! I'm so happy they came to our wedding and we got along so well. I will definitely have to improve my Japanese!

I hope you all have a fun Monday. I wish I had photos to show you, but I'm still waiting for the pictures from the photographer :)

Off to get married

Hi everyone. Happy Happy Wednesday. Today is a very special day for me and Atchan. We are off to get married!!! I'm so nervous right now, but a lot calmer that I thought I would be.

I won't be able to update my blog for a few days. My mother in law and auntie in law flew from Japan last night. I'm very excited that they will be attending to our wedding. We are planning to take them to many places in Ontario!

Wedding makeup and my bridezilla moment

Happy Monday and Happy Victoria day everyone. I hope you are enjoying your long weekend. I'm loving these lovely wedding make up. I love natural make up because I want to still look like myself on a wedding day, but I also want to look like my better and prettier self :)

I think I experienced my very first "Bridezilla moment" over the weekend as Atchan and I went through our wedding to-do list. Not that I intended to be one though. Since I'm getting closer to the wedding date, I tend to be worried about every little details. It's sad because I won't be able to enjoy the whole wedding experience as much as I want to. I have to get rid of all anxieties out of my system real soon!!!

What have I been doing lately?

My wedding day is less than a month now. I'm counting down until my wedding everyday. Atchan and I have been running all over the city to get a married license, meet with our wedding photographer, wedding officiant, visit the wedding site and so on. We are so lucky to find such nice people who are willing to help and work with us on the wedding day. Thank you :)

Also last week, I've been looking for the wedding decorations. I don't need many decorations since my wedding will be small and intimate. But still, I want to have something special on our wedding day.

One of my friends was having a garage sale, she sold me this folding table for only $5!


There are so many nice fabric stores around Queen street west. I found this lovely fabric at one of the stores.


Also, I made our wedding guest book box from scratch. I bought a box at a craft store and pasted cute paper on it. Voila! It only took me two hours for this project :)

I got this at Urban Outfitters. I'm planning to put our wedding favor, custom magnet buttons, on it :)

Lastly, my last addiction of the week. Didn't mean to promote Starbucks though, since they have happy hour half-price frappuccino this month, I've been drinking it once every two days with cup cakes!

Wedding bouquets { Peony, Rose and Hydrangea }

I'm really obsessed with Peony, Rose and Hydrangea flowers lately. I think they are gorgeous and would make a wonderful wedding bouquet.

I was planning to make a DIY bouquet at first, but buying different kinds of flowers would cost me at least $60 already. I decided to go to a professional instead. I'm meeting with my florist on Monday, I still can't decide which color combination I should go for.

Atchan loves the 2nd one, Light green hydrangea and ivory rose. His idea of a wedding should be white. Since my dress is already white, I prefer to have a little bit of colors. I love the color combination on the last bouquet, White, light pink and fuschia peony in full bloom.

Please help me pick which one I should go for! Many thanks in advance :)

I'm feeling { LOVED }

Happy new week everyone. How was your weekend? I had a wonderful weekend so far. The weather was warm and sunny. I had fun walking around the neighborhood, exploring new blooming flowers.

Why am I feeling LOVED today? My fiance and I made an order for our wedding rings. It takes a month for the crafter to make our wedding rings (you can't rush perfection). I will wait impatiently for it.

Our rings are from Nojess. They designed the most delicate jewelry. I just love everything in the store :)

Wedding Props n' Decorations { Flowers }

Hi all. Happy Monday. I hope you all enjoyed your weekend. My weekend was pretty much a roller coaster ride. My fiance and I had a serious talk about our wedding, budgets, guest lists and so on. I was pretty stressed out even planning a very small intimate wedding. If you have some tips about planning a stress-free wedding, PLEASE do share!!

Wedding invitation

My lovely sister has just finished drawing our wedding invitation for me and atchan. I thought I wanted to post it here before adding the type and everything. She has done a fabulous job, don't you think? My dress in the invitation is a match with the real dress, how neat! I can't wait to send it to all my guests :)

Le Dress is here!

After I blogged about wedding dresses, I did some serious hunt for my perfect wedding dress. I did some research both online and offline. I also looked for used wedding dresses, but I couldn't find anything my size.

I specially look for ones under budget, so BCBG came into mind. I went to Vaughan mills mall because it has a BCBG outlet (although it took me almost 2 + 1/2 hours to get there!). I tried on this dress because I like the loose and relax style, but it didn't do anything for me at all. It even made me look shorter. I'm only 5'3!

Then I tried this dress and immediately fell in love with it.

I didn't really like it while looking at the photo on the model, but it looked amazing in person. It has a sweetheart neckline and it hugs my curves really well. But the problem was they didn't have the dress in white, instead they had it in PINK. So, I came home, did some searching and was sooo happy to find out that Nordstrom carries BCBG and will ship oversea, yay!!

I received my wedding dress last week and was very happy with it. Here is my version of the dress. I'm not ready to show my face yet :)
