Wood utensils

I just got a chance to use my wood utensils that I bought back when I was in Thailand. I love the earthy feeling of wooden products :)

This elephant chopstick holder is too adorable to pass on. I couldn't help but buy it!

Souvenirs

I went shopping for souvenirs yesterday for my family and friends in Japan, look what I got. I found Bellagio's hot cocoa to be very addictive. They are rich, smooth and flavorful. I also love the packaging too.

I got Ghirardelli coffee for Atchan's family. I heard they love drinking coffee.

Lemon curd for myself. I love it on toasts. Yum!

I hope they will love my souvenirs :)

Red shoes with bows

Hi there lovelies. How are you today? I went to Pacific Mall yesterday to get contact lens I have ordered, and then I found these red shoes with bows at one of the shoe stores.

The bows are my favorite parts of the shoes, but my sister made a comment that they looked like Minnie Mouse's shoes hahaha. I noticed a slight defect at the sole, that's probably why they were on sale for only $15.

I'm totally obsessed with shoes, what about you?

I went shopping! { Steve Madden shoes + Hairband }

Happy friday and happy new month everyone. I'm glad to know that there was a great response to my giveaway at Federica's blog. So many readers have participated. I'm very excited! I forgot to mention in the last post that I send notifications about my shop promotions and giveaways through facebook group and twitter as well. Feel free to join me if you want :)

So, I went out shopping for a picnic basket the other day. I'm looking forward to have a wonderful picnic to welcome Spring, but instead, I got this!

My very first Steve Madden shoes!

I got it on sale at Winners for almost half the price. It is very similar to this one on the website. They are super comfy too.

I also went to Sephora to get this braid hairband. After I saw Jenny review it on her blog, I couldn't resist! They come in 5 different colors, I got mine in medium brown. Sorry about the bad lighting in the photo!

I think I'm done with shopping for the rest of this month (saving for wedding!). Until later. Have a nice long weekend :)

Fabulous finds { Naraya bags n' accessories }

Few months ago, I made a visit to Bangkok for the first time in five years. I felt like a total foreigner in my own country. So much have changed, new buildings, roads, but what remained unchanged is a hot, sauna like and very steamy air that Bangkok has.

I was doing some shopping for souvenirs for some friends in Canada, and I thought this might be the best, suitable and affordable gift for my friends.

I visited Naraya bag and accessories store in Sukhumvit branch. The store is very well known among Japanese and Korean tourists. Of course, I couldn't help buying some for my fiancé's mother and sister :)

I got myself a new makeup bag. I love small flower prints and baby blue fabric :)

and some small pouches for friends....

Florals & Frilly

Not sure since when did I start to fill my closet up with florals and frilly clothes. Before I know it, my closet is full of these type of clothes and dresses. My boyfriend even teases how girly I have became! Trust me, I'm not girly, I just appear that way!

Not long before, I wouldn't wear something with flower prints on it (but I love frilly clothes). I thought that the look is very hard to pull off. I somehow started to love to mix and match floral, flower prints with other clothes and accessories from my closet.

One of my favorite dresses at the moment is from Pageboy. I got it on sale too! yay! The dress is a little bit too big for me, though.

Got these tops from Forever 21 last week.

Lastly, one of my favorite tops in the summer. Got this at a flea market in Thailand. I love wearing cotton in the summer!

My favorite things

I'll be blogging about TEA today. Having tea everyday in the afternoon seems like a ritual for me. Yes, I'm addicted to tea. I guess I need to have some caffeine in my system to get things started.

My favorite kind of tea is Green tea. The best I had was when I went to the temple in Kyoto and they offered free green tea. It was so light, clean and smooth. I wish I could make tea like that some day :)

I bought an Earl gray tea from Harney & Sons the other day at Indigo. First because I love drinking it, and second, I think I could use the packaging as a prop for my etsy store.

I have recently received a tea pot as a birthday gift from a really good friend. Look how cute it is! It has little strawberries pattern on it and the BEST thing is that it's a cup in itself! How convenience! I've never seen anything like this before. My friend knows that I'm tea crazy! It's sure a handy gift for me!

My Cup of Tea

The weather outside is very gloomy. Although, it's only 4 PM, I feel like it is 6 PM already. The sky will turn dark soon. I miss Summer already T_T.

I have recently replaced my old cup with a new one. The rim of my old cup was broken, so it's a good excuse for me to get a new one. This cup is handmade in Japan. I really like it. I also like the grainy texture of the cup. I'm having Jasmin tea this afternoon. It smells heavenly!

Beauteen

I have recently tried a new hair color from Beauteen. It's from Hoyu company. I purchased this a few months ago and just got a chance to try it. This brand is very hard to find in Toronto. I personally prefer this brand over any other brands since the color comes out just like it promises. The one I bought this time is called French Beige. The photo on the right is what my hair is now.

For those who tend to have sensitive scalp might want to test the product on your skin first. I think the formula is kinda strong. My scalp was very itchy from times to times while coloring my hair!!

Time to go to bed.......Oyasuminasai

Bath and Body Works

I have almost finished my Christmas shopping! I didn't spend a lot this year, well, maybe not yet. I'm very happy to hear that Bath and Body Works is now open in Canada! I have been a fan of Bath and Body Works. It is located at Yorkdale, nearby Mac Cosmetics.

I purchased a lip gloss at a very cheap price ($5). It tastes so good. I got the one with peach and mango flavored. Also I bought a body lotion gift set. This is not for me though, but they smell lovely that I have to go back there and get one for myself!! Christmas is coming near! I have to get into Holidays Spirit!
